Exploring the Trauma Connection:
What is Trauma?  In general, trauma can be defined as a psychological, emotional response to a deeply distressing or disturbing experience. This can refer to common upsetting circumstances such as an accident, injury, illness, loss of a loved one, divorce, or separation from loved ones. It also includes severely damaging experiences such as sexual assault, rape, torture, abuse, and neglect.

To some degree, we have all experienced some form of trauma that has left physical and/or emotional scars. We typically carrying trauma in our bodies -- often in the sacral, solar plexus, and heart chakras.

Long-term symptoms of trauma may include:

  • Anger

  • Flashbacks

  • Resentment

  • Panic Attacks

  • Brain fog

  • Persistent feelings of sadness and despair

  • Unpredictable emotions

  • Physical symptoms like nausea and headaches, IBS and many others

  • Intense feelings of guilt and shame

  • Feelings of isolation and hopelessness

This workshop will leave you feeling empowered, loved, held, and more secure in your sense of self. Come prepared for body, mind, and soul nourishment that includes:

  1. a sacred circle invoking the healing powers of Gaia and the divine feminine

2. a guided self empowerment meditation

3. a Shamanic Kundalini exercise to release trauma and move blocked energy

4. crystal healing

5. mala work

6. Esoteric Healing Techniques

Bring: a journal, water bottle, and a light snack for after. If you have a mala made with beads bring it along. If you don’t have one it’s ok. Space will be limited to 30 individuals.

This workshop will be a series held monthly to address the different ways trauma impacts our being and how we can overcome the experiences in our lives that impacted us so significantly.

Meet Jaque

Jaque is also an E-RYT Kundalini Yoga teacher, and Arvigo Maya Abdominal Therapy® practitioner. In addition Jaque loves to work with, wear and share authentic and certified Vogel Quartz Crystal Sacred Geometry Jewelry.  Jaque believes that this is the time we have all been waiting for, and sees herself as a vessel, providing a safe container in which others may peel back their outer layers, and allow their True Radiance to Emerge and Shine.

Michelle Stine is an intuitive medium and spiritual messenger who connects with divine energies from various realms to help restore balance to the body, mind, and spirit.  She embodies unconditional love and compassion by nature, and is dedicated to holding a safe space for others to (re)discover and express their true authentic self.
