It is safe to say that as a collective there was a major shift (a death of sorts) that happened in 2020. As time moves on and the pieces are settling, it can be a challenging time accepting these shifts and changes and what it means individually and collectively. Letting go of what once was to step into the unknown is certainly not comfortable.

I offer a gathering to explore the energetic archetype of Death Card of the Tarot as a tool to guide through this process..The Death Card is a beautiful guide to Transformations. This card is about releasing the old to allow space to step into the new. The Death Card is there to teach us about how to accept change and gracefully move through major transitions and transformations.

Does working with Tarot, astrology, and herbalism speak to you? By working with The Major Arcana of Tarot one may use energetic archetypes of cosmic laws and principles for self exploration and inspiration. If you have ever experienced grief and difficulty accepting change then the Death Card is a particularly potent energy to work with to guide you through deep transformations.

As one walk alongs through this experience the outer and inner realities are constantly changing. Even the littlest of changes can build up and be difficult to work through, because one must release the old through these shifts, and this is not always the easiest of experiences. There is comfort to cling onto what is known, because that feels safe, but it promotes being stuck, blocked, living in the past, and holding onto old stories. There is a lot of fear and anxiety that comes with moving into the unfamiliar. .

Not being able to fully accept change or being fearful of change, even on the smallest of levels, plays out in so many ways and creates a lot of problems of not being able to move forward.

Being affected by change and holding it heavy has been something that has been a current theme within my own experience. Being fearful of what's to come has me clinging onto the old, keeping me in a suspended and stagnant chapter. My intention is to explore the energy of the Death card in a way that is healing and empowering. To honor all that we have been through while embracing what is to come, so that these times of transitions are seen as times of deep and sacred transformations birthing auspicious nuggets of wisdom.

This gathering is a safe container to explore what is being held onto and how one can release it to continue on a path of evolution. It is an opportunity to honor all the ways one has transformed up to this moment in time and space. using corresponding planetary energy, herbs, scents, and colors there is a deep immersion into the energy of the Death card. Participants are encouraged to bring a mug, water bottle, writing instrument, notebook, and whatever else will allow for comfortability and ease. All things shared will stay in this container.

The Zodiacal sign of Scorpio corresponds to The Death Card, so what a gleaming way to usher in Scorpio season by gathering to explore the depths of this particular energetic archetype so that one can fully embrace change and letting go. This gathering is gearing up for a new moon in Scorpio, with a Sun and Venus conjunction. The new moon invites a dive into the depths and encourages new beginnings and rejuvenation. The Sun and Venus conjunction Shining light on the vitality and benevolence that dances in the waters of our emotions and the way we connect with ourselves and others. Before the Moon moves into Scorpio it holds space with Mercury late in Libra trine Mars in Gemini, aiding in articulating and expressing the things felt so intensely with passion, direction, and fierceness. The Moon and Mercury square Pluto in Capricorn which gives way to things being shaken up all in divine alignment.

As the northern hemisphere begins to transition into the quiet and dark, we can ask ourselves what we are ready to let go to make the transition into the next season one of graceful growth.

Exploring this energy is a way to fully embrace transformation and honoring it as a necessary part in life. By holding this honor one can walk with their head held high and enthusiastic about the unfolding of this experience. One will leave feeling lighter and more grounded by the acknowledging and releasing of what is no longer serving.

Investment: $33 by 10/25. After $39.
