1 - 3 PM
Due to circumstances outside of our control, many of us were forced to grow up too fast. Or we became so submerged in the seriousness of adult responsibility that we lost touch with our child-like innocence, playfulness, and creativity.
โค๏ธโ๐ฉน Do you find it difficult to let your guard down and simply enjoy life?
โค๏ธโ๐ฉน Did you grow up feeling misunderstood or invisible?
โค๏ธโ๐ฉน Were your parents unable to meet your emotional needs?
โค๏ธโ๐ฉน Do you feel like there is a child within you who longs to be loved?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, then Jackie will show you in this workshop that you have the power within you to break out of these constraints, step back, and view the world again with wonder through the curious eyes of a child. To notice the magic and simple pleasures in the beauty of nature around you, providing a space of calm, clarity, and pure joy. You can surrender the incessant thoughts and worries of the analytical mind to Mother Earth.
By connecting with your inner child and allowing the expression of these suppressed desires to play, create, and giggle, you will learn to re-open your heart, and heal yourself and future generations.
Jackie will offer a caring and judgment-free space for you to let go of the stressors of day-to-day life, ground into your truest self, and explore the child inside of you through various mindful practices including play, guided visualization, and artistic forms of self-expression.
Bring: Those who choose to attend are encouraged to bring a water bottle, a writing utensil, a journal/paper, comfortable clothes, an open heart and open mind, and whatever else they feel called to bring to be cozy.

Meet Jackie
As an empath, nature lover, and scientist, Jackie Maurer is passionate about bridging the gap between the physical, emotional, and spiritual realms. Jackie strives to balance her life in the way of yin/yang, Divine Masculine/Feminine, and science/spirituality.
Jackie has overcome many battles related to her mental health, finding potent medicine by combining spiritual practices with behavioral therapy techniques and incorporating mindfulness, emotion regulation, and interpersonal skills. Jackie aims to normalize conversations around mental health and share the hope that we are not alone, our emotional sensitivities are a gift, and our current struggles do not need to define our future.
As an environmental scientist, she holds gratitude for the ability to work hands-on in protecting and healing Mother Earth, and for the calming serenity she finds when immersing herself in nature. She sees the healing power in stepping out of the seriousness and stressors of life and viewing the world through the curious eyes of the inner child.
Jackie connects strongly with practices of yoga, drumming, sound meditations, and energy work, as well as hiking, traveling, and spending time with her cat.
