🕊️ Sharing the Gift of the Monks
My heart is still overflowing with the magnificent energy from the Tibetan Monks’ visit. Every time they come, it feels beyond the beyond ~ a true gift. This particular group touched me in such a profound way. Perhaps it was because they came three times in a row, but truthfully, there was an intimate sense of family and camaraderie from their very first visit.
I remember feeling inspired to create a Facebook Live during that first gathering at the Hive. Their childlike innocence, radiant presence, and generous hearts deeply inspired us all, especially when they first arrived. We were delighted!
🌟 The Backstory
Our mystical and hypnotic journey with the Tibetan Monks began when Joan McCabe ~ the incredible home hostess and coordinator of all the local events ~ shared that a sound healer had offered to join forces with the monks to support their cause of feeding the 2,000+ monks in their monastery in India. A few days later, plans shifted, and the sound healer was unable to come.
At that moment, I received a clear download: to offer my 23 years of vibrational sound healing in service, and to extend this precious opportunity to the Beehive Mystery School initiates and graduates. My whole body buzzed with peace and excitement as I received this guidance. It was a way to support the monks’ mission, not just through donating space and marketing, but by weaving sound and seva (service) into a shared sacred experience.
🎶 A Training in Sound & Spirit
The initiates and graduates all said YES to stepping forward! Together, we trained as a group this time, exploring how sound can move through the body, how it can be shared both spiritually and physically, and how to honor the work of vibration as both a prayer and a practice. Vibrational Sound Healing has been a big part of the Beehive Mystery School from day one, but this was a leap into working a symphony of sound based on the energy that the monks created with their chanting and intentions for the hive collective.
We rehearsed by aligning each instrument with the qualities of the sacred directions, and even shared a mini-session for my Stress Management Kundalini Yoga class. Afterwards, we reflected in our traditional “High Light, Low Light” meeting ~ a humble practice of learning through honesty, curiosity, and compassion to give and receive feedback and self awareness. This reflection is one of the pillars for growth of the Beehive Mystery Schools, and it continues to be a cornerstone of my own spiritual path.
✨ A Night of Magic
When the day came, the Lakshmi Studio was lovingly prepared ~ chairs, blankets, cushions, instruments lined up like jewels awaiting activation. As the monks entered, they were captivated by the atmosphere. And then ~ to our amazement—they began playing our instruments with joy and delight! Curiosity sparked their eyes, playful energy to all the “weird instruments” to them, and open-hearted presence were unforgettable.
I could hardly believe what was unfolding before me. It was magic. It was communion. It was grace in motion.
🌺 Bittersweet Blessings
This last visit with the group was bittersweet. Why? Because every time a new group of monks come over, the group is different ~ different leader, different brothers, different energies. Each visit is once-in-a-lifetime, never to be repeated in quite the same way.
This time, I also joined them at a private momo-making night, hosted by a generous couple. We laughed, shared stories, savored both vegetarian and beef momos, and bonded over the importance of hot sauce to complete the meal, once it was found! Their joy, warmth, and presence are forever imprinted in my heart.
As I reflect, I know my initiates’ lives have been transformed by this experience. The monks’ Grace, Humility, and Devotion offered us all a profound transmission of Peace. I could not bee more blessed.
💛 Seva fills my heart. My toroidal field is alive with Wonder, Gratitude, and the Highest Love.
