Meet Rae

Rae is a very unique leader and facilitator. Her style and presence is shaped by traveling the world, diving deep into spiritual practices, and collaborating on innovative community projects.

Rae has been traveling all over the world since 2007 (her entire adult life). She took a gap year before college and went on a few trips in South and Central America as well as South Africa. She was deeply affected by these experiences where she was a part of various volunteer initiatives and helped her father with his ecotourism research. During her college years at Syracuse University, she studied abroad in Ecuador, Chile, Costa Rica and Ghana. She worked with communities in leadership positions during college, including leading outdoor adventure trips, refugee education programs, and an ecotourism project in Costa Rica.

Concerning her spiritual journey, Rae grew up in the Christian community, both her parents were ministers. She absolutely loves the Lord God and Jesus Christ, but growing up something always felt like it was missing. While in college, her journeys with plant medicine felt it opened the door to see God in many different cultures and traditions. A deep connection with Nature, Spirit, and Self started to develop. She started to connect with Buddhism, specifically Vipassana, often attending or serving 11-day silent retreats.  She then started connecting to yoga and Hinduism, receiving her 200hr RYT certification in Guatemala and her 300 hr RYT cert. in Rishikesh, India. Spending 3.5 yrs living in India, she led kirtans, homas (fire ceremonies), and retreats. Most of her time in India was spent living in Tiruvannamalai, studying and practicing Self-Inquiry. In this place, they worship a mountain as the living embodiment of God (Shiva) on Earth. She has also studied with various experts in indigenous spirituality, including in the Seneca (Native American), Shipibo (Peruvian), and Mayan (Guatemalan) traditions. Rae has deeply felt the connection to God, or Spirit, in each group of people mentioned in this paragraph. As a result of her intense studies and travel experiences, her spiritual perspective and presence is truly one-of-a-kind!

As a Vision Coach, Rae helps people restore their physical vision and the vision they have regarding their soul projects. By physical vision, she specializes in restoring myopia (nearsightedness), as she did this for herself in 2020. She developed an innovative program based on her own research and experience. Regarding the vision people have for their soul projects, she has been an invaluable guide to many. You can find Rae helping with organization and implementation for a wellness business or retreat center in India or Thailand, helping with design layout and vision for a book called “Transcending Mind Shapes,” or helping her clients with their vision for a new travel adventure.

As a facilitator and community leader, Rae has had abundant experiences. Most notably would be facilitating yoga classes, workshops and retreats around the world, her Peace Corps experience in Guatemala, working for 2 years for the National Park Service (Washington D.C.) doing event coordination and program design and management, helping various businesses in India and Thailand implement their community outreach programs. From 2018-2020, Rae founded and ran her own yoga studio in Central PA, called Be Here Now.

Rae has been leading Creator Circles since 2016, awakening creativity in group settings. Whether focused on music, painting, photography, or filming video footage together, she finds that bringing people together around creating art is a great way to connect. She has facilitated life-changing experiences including ceremonial photoshoots for empowering women in the Thai jungle, retreats about conscious relating where people connect more deeply than they ever have, or painting nature in a National Park in Washington, DC.

From this summary of a rich life, you might notice that Rae is very passionate about travel, connecting with other cultures and with Nature, spirituality, having FUN, creativity, innovation, and community.
