Join Floyd Joynes as he guides us into a powerful, shamanic drum circle experience. Together, we’ll explore fundamental playing techniques and African-inspired rhythms, opening the door to both rhythm and connection.
For thousands of years, drum circles have played a pivotal role in ceremony, community, and celebration. Drumming is more than music—it’s medicine. Studies show that drumming helps reduce stress, lower blood pressure, release tension, and balance the nervous system. Spiritually, it reconnects us with the heartbeat of nature, commands presence, and invites us into a state of unity.
This is a non-judgmental space where everyone is welcome. Whether you’re a seasoned player or have never touched a drum before, you’ll find a rhythm waiting within you. Limited drums and percussion instruments will be available on a first-come basis, but we encourage you to bring your own drum or instrument to share your unique sound.
As the circle unfolds, expect to feel both energized and grounded—lighter in spirit, more connected to community, and uplifted by the power of rhythm. Allow the beat of the drum to move your body, clear your mind, and open your heart. Together, let’s drum away the stress and celebrate the joy of life.
