I have a Leo Moon in my natal chart, and I have felt this Lion's Gate season deeply.
For more than two decades, life has continually invited me ~ sometimes gently, sometimes quite fiercely ~ to step into my own power.
It has been a path filled with extraordinary beauty, profound loss, unexpected awakenings, and countless opportunities to choose courage over comfort.
Again and again, I have been stretched personally, professionally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Looking back now, I can honestly say I wouldn't change it.
Every challenge became a teacher.
Every uncertainty became an initiation.
Every obstacle quietly carved out another chamber of compassion, wisdom, and resilience within me.
What surprises me most is that these experiences have naturally become the very foundation of my work.
I never set out simply to teach.
I first set out to heal.
To understand.
To become more authentic.
To learn how to embody what I believed.
Only then did I realize that the greatest teachings are not memorized ~ they are lived.
As the Beehive Mystery School facilitator, teacher, and practitioner, I continue to walk this path alongside those I serve. My role has never been to stand above anyone. Rather, I simply hold the lantern a little farther down the trail so others can more easily discover the light already waiting within themselves.
I remain, at heart, a humble beekeeper...

One final thought has continued to make me smile.
When Katie, James, and I were coordinating our calendars for this month's Creekside Nectar, August 9 was simply the date that worked for all of us. It wasn't until later that I realized we would be gathering during the heart of the Lion's Gate Portal. There was no strategic planning ~ only a willingness to remain open and allow life to unfold.
Moments like these remind me that when we stop trying to control every detail and instead move with presence, intention, and trust, life often comes together in ways more beautiful than we could have orchestrated ourselves. Whether you see that as divine timing, meaningful synchronicity, or simply one of life's delightful surprises, it is a gentle invitation to soften our grip, listen more deeply, and partner with the natural flow already unfolding around us.
Perhaps that is one of the Lion's greatest teachings ~ not to force our way forward, but to stand courageously in our truth, take the next faithful step, and allow life to meet us there.
