“Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there someday.” – A. A. Milne
A Trauma-Informed Creekside Immersion for Nervous System Restoration
You are warmly invited into an intimate, nourishing creekside experience designed to support deep rest, re-calibration, and renewal.
Step into a living sanctuary where sound, water, and earth meet. This immersive creekside journey invites you to rest, receive, and renew as you are held by the gentle embrace of the Conodoguinet Creek ~ a 90-mile tributary of the Susquehanna River in central Pennsylvania, named from a Native American phrase meaning “a long way with many bends.” A perfect metaphor for the winding, sacred path back to yourself.
Have you been feeling…
Overwhelmed or stretched too thin
Exhausted, depleted, or running on empty
Mentally foggy or physically run down
Disconnected from nature or craving more earth time
Anxious, low-grade depressed, or emotionally heavy
Overworked, overgiving, or burned out
Confused, ungrounded, or isolated
Caught in cycles of negative self-talk or self-criticism
Struggling with boundaries or holding too much for others
Longing to be held, supported, and deeply nourished
Or…
Do you simply wish to receive an enriching, immersive live sound journey ~ infused with intention, radical compassion, and the sweet medicine of nature ~ within a gorgeous living oasis?
🌟 A Trauma-Informed Experience
This gathering is intentionally facilitated through a trauma-informed, choice-centered approach by three experienced practitioners. Every invitation throughout the experience is exactly that ~ an invitation. There is no expectation to perform, share, or have a particular experience.
Whether you come simply to relax beside the creek, regulate your nervous system, reconnect with nature, or explore deeper layers of personal healing, you will be met with compassion, respect, and without judgment.
🩵 You are always welcome to participate in whatever way feels supportive for you.
🎯 The Power of Intention
Before we begin our sound journey, Jaque will gently guide the group through a simple intention-setting practice.
Your intention might be as simple as:
"Today I choose to rest."
"I am open to receiving."
"May I leave feeling more grounded."
Or, if you feel called, your intention may touch something more personal ~ a relationship, a life transition, an old pattern, grief, self-worth, or a place within yourself that is ready for healing.
For more than twenty-three years, Jaque has guided individuals and groups through transformational experiences that integrate somatic awareness, mindfulness, ceremony, sound, and nature. Having facilitated hundreds of private sessions, workshops, trainings, and the Beehive Mystery School since 2015, she has witnessed something remarkable:
When people feel emotionally safe, their nervous system naturally becomes more receptive to healing, learning, and lasting change.
Modern neuroscience supports this understanding. A clear intention helps orient the brain toward what matters most, influencing attention, perception, and the formation of new neural pathways through experience. Rather than forcing transformation, intention invites the mind and body to work together with greater coherence and awareness.
Whether your intention is simply to rest or to gently explore a deeper layer of your healing journey, you will be met with compassion, respect, and complete freedom to participate in whatever way feels right for you.
Combined with breath, guided visualization, sound, nature, and mindful presence, intention becomes less about forcing change and more about creating the conditions where change can naturally unfold.
There is nothing to achieve.
Nothing to prove.
Only an opportunity to become more present with yourself ~ and to discover what may emerge from that presence.
The Experience
As you settle into the cooling, soothing waters, a rich tapestry of live sound will unfold around and above you. Drums, Native American flutes, wind ceramic flutes, bells, rattles, chimes, metal bowls, ocean drum, and other elemental instruments will be played in gentle waves ~ moving through the space like breath, like water, like prayer. The sounds ripple across the creek, inviting your nervous system to soften, unwind, and reset.
You’ll be encouraged to dangle your fingertips into the clear flowing water, feel your feet grounding into the ancient rock bed beneath you, and allow nature to do what it does best ~ restore balance. Deer may wander nearby. Blue herons, cranes, hawks, and other wildlife often grace the space, reminding us that we are part of a much larger, beautifully orchestrated ecosystem.
Come as you are. Leave lighter, clearer, and more deeply rooted.
Your Facilitators
This experience is lovingly guided by Jaque Hanson, founder of Bee Present Wellness and the Beehive Mystery School.
For over twenty-three years, Jaque has dedicated her life's work to helping people reconnect with themselves through somatic awareness, mindfulness, ceremony, sound, and a variety of embodied spiritual practices. She has facilitated thousands of hours of private sessions, group trainings, retreats, and immersive transformational experiences, creating spaces where people feel safe enough to soften, reconnect, and discover their own inner wisdom.
Joining her are Katie and James, two compassionate practitioners who have completed extensive training through the Beehive Mystery School, Therapeutic Sound, Shamanic Reiki, and continue to deepen their own practice of embodied healing. Together, they create an atmosphere of warmth, presence, playfulness, and genuine care.
Our role is not to fix you.
Our role is to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where your nervous system can settle, your body can breathe a little easier, and your own capacity for healing, insight, and restoration can naturally emerge.
Some participants leave feeling deeply rested.
Some experience emotional release.
Some gain unexpected clarity.
Some simply invest two hours immersed in the beauty of the creek.
Every experience is welcome. Every experience is enough.

Meet Jaque
Spiritual Director • Ceremonialist • Water Wisdom Keeper
Jaque guides people through their deepest darkness into powerful metamorphosis with Passion, Clarity, and Heart. Her journey began in 2002, when her daughter’s suicide attempt sparked a profound awakening ~ igniting Jaque’s intuitive gifts and initiating deep healing for them both. This life-altering moment led her organically into shamanism, and to learn an array of sacred modalities.
In addition to her soul work as a healer, teacher, and ceremonialist, *Jaque Hanson is a devoted Water Wisdom Keeper*, entrusted with the sacred responsibility of stewarding the land and waterways near her beloved Hive studio in Central Pennsylvania. Nestled alongside the ancient Susquehanna River ~ one of the oldest rivers in the United States ~ this land holds unexcavated wisdom and the deep presence of Native Indigenous tribes.
Since the age of six, Jaque has been led by an ancestral guide to commune with water through rituals and ceremonies devoted to healing, balance, prosperity, joy, and peace. With immense humility and reverence, she honors the ancestors of this land with every sacred act. In the Autumn Equinox of 2019, before the emergence of COVID, Jaque was divinely guided to open a spiritual portal on the river near the Safe Harbor Petroglyphs, the oldest known collection of Native American rock art in the Eastern U.S. ~ a task she undertook with the assistance of Paul Nevin, their curator. In 2025, she further anchored this portal by hosting the Sagas and Mamos ~ The Kogi indigenous people, elder shamans from the sacred Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia. Together, they performed “pagamentos” ~ ceremonial offerings that connected the petroglyphs, the Hive, and their sacred mountain homes in a powerful axis of light, healing, and remembrance. Jaque stands as a humble guardian of this Majestic River, weaving ancient wisdom and contemporary sacred action for the healing of water, earth, and humanity.
Meet Katie
Energy Healer • Light Language • Shamanic Practitioner
As her spirituality blasted off and she explored a deeper level of healing with energy work, there was no doubt in Katie's mind that she wanted to embrace these sacred modalities not only for herself but to share with her friends and family. This deeper dive into healing released years of trauma, abuse, and self-doubt through shadow work and deep self-care with Kundalini Yoga, meditation, and the application of spiritual principles.
Katie is fascinated by her studies for two levels at The Beehive Mystery School, and is refining her skills in Advanced Energy Work. This modality is a deep dive into oneself, which greatly fulfills Katie's mission of empowering others.
Katie has been facilitating Sacred Sound Healing workshops at The Hive and is a self trained musician and embodies Light Language. Katie is driven with a purposeful intention to embrace her client's needs with compassion, acceptance, and FUN! Healing can be more than just a long session of talking about our past hurts, but rather an opportunity to embrace all parts of life as a gift with important lessons along the way.
Meet James
Sound Practitioner • Energy Healer • Shamanic Practitioner
James was born and raised in Michigan, shaped by a deep connection to both wild and cultivated landscapes—from time spent in the northern woods and national forests to days on his grandmother’s horse farm, as well as life in vibrant capital and college towns. This balance of nature and community continues to influence his path.
A lifelong music enthusiast who has attended hundreds of concerts across multiple states, James developed a strong appreciation for the power of sound as both expression and experience. His work has evolved from this passion into a more intentional practice of sound as a therapeutic tool.
As an avid outdoorsman, eco-conscious landscaper, gardener, and herbalist, James is deeply rooted in working with the earth and supporting holistic well-being. His studies at Soundwise School of Harmonic Therapy in Lancaster, PA have included training with singing bowls, tuning forks, gongs, drums, and other instruments used to support relaxation and energetic balance.
Further shaping his approach, James completed a year-long Mystery School program at Bee Present Wellness, where he explored prayer, ceremony, and shamanic arts. These experiences inform his perspective and contribute to a grounded, integrative approach to healing work.
James feels called to serve his community through therapeutic sound practices and earth-based connection, offering spaces that support restoration, awareness, and overall well-being.
