An afternoon of ancestral wisdom, sacred ceremony, and living teachings for our time. with the Mamos and Zagas

“The shaman no longer looks for meaning in life, but brings meaning to every situation."
— Alberto Villoldo

Join us for rare and meaningful afternoon of sacred storytelling, ceremony, and insight with the Mamos and Zagas—the spiritual leaders of the Kogi, Wiwa, Arhuaco, and Kankuama peoples of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to be in the presence of Elders who carry an unbroken lineage of Indigenous wisdom rooted in the ancient Tayrona civilization.

The Mamos (male Elders) and Zagas (female priestesses) are trained from early childhood in healing, sacred ceremony, divination, and planetary stewardship. They live in service to what they call Earth’s Original Law—the responsibility to maintain balance between humanity, nature, and the spiritual realms.

Often referred to as “keepers of the sacred ways,” they hold deep knowledge of how to live in harmony with the natural world and work in relationship with the waters, lands, and unseen forces that sustain life on Earth.

An Afternoon of Connection & Wisdom

During this intimate gathering, we will be joined by two Mamos and two Zagas, along with their interpreter, for a shared experience that includes:

  • Ancestral storytelling and teachings from their tradition

  • Sacred ceremony guided by the Elders

  • Music and vibrational offerings

  • Time for questions and shared dialogue

This is a space to listen, learn, and receive—directly from a living lineage that continues to steward the balance of life on Earth.

Why This Matters Now

In a time of rapid change and uncertainty, the teachings of the Mamos and Zagas offer a profound reminder: that harmony in the outer world begins with our relationship to the Earth, to each other, and to the unseen.

Their presence here is part of a larger mission—to help restore balance and awaken a deeper sense of responsibility and connection within humanity.
